I agree on that and made no claims otherwise. I didn't mention in a car, you are. If there is a seat belt check and see I have it on, why do they need to see my ID? Probably because it's more than a seatbelt check in reality. Kind of like the dog that "hits" on a car that has no drugs in it can be used to search the car.

Do you expect the voters to make a difference? I don't. Can those actually paying taxes simply move out of Illinois? Where would these hypocrites get their pay checks then? Once the taxpayers are gone, the over taxed businesses would follow, they couldn't get tax breaks, only thing left in IL is the politician, the overworked gov't worker, and the subsidized IL resident!

The police operate under the constitution. They know what those are, they deal with it day in and day out. They are kept abreast of court rulings one-way or the other. If you feel they acted unconstitutionally on the street, that is adjudicated in a court room in front of a judge, NOT on the street. Arrest Stephen T. Whittle (24) of 2625 Chestnut for Expired Registration at 10th & Maine on 12/6/12. D.L.

Arrest Jackson C Brown II (28) of Ursa for Failure to Wear a Seatbelt at 12th & Spruce on12/6/12. NTA

Arrest / Lodged  Tina L. Cain (44) of 725 So. 5th was arrested for Felony Retail Theft at Hy-Vee, 3700 Broadway, on 12/6/12 for an incident that occurred on 11/25/12. 

Arrest / Traffic Theresa S. Brewer (38) of 200 Maine #240 was arrested for driving while license suspended and reckless driving at 1925 Bonasinga Dr. on 12/5/12.

Arrest / Traffic   Damon M. Whitaker (22) of 633 State was arrested for disobeying a stop light at 8th and Broadway on 12/2/12.

Arrest / Warrant Angela Marie Classen (43) of 635 1/2 Spruce was arrested for a contempt of court warrant for FTA Unlicensed at 8th to 9th on York on 12/6/12. 

Arrest / Warrant Reginald M. Beaver (21) of 834 1/2 North 6th was arrested for an outstanding FTA warrant for loud music and no taillights at his residence on 12/6/12.  After a short foot pursuit, Beaver was also arrested for flight on foot to avoid arrest and possession of cannabis. He was lodged on the warrant and NTA's on the OV charges. 

Arrest / Warrant   Aja Scott (22) of 1120 Lind apt. 4 was arrested for FTA - legal matter warrant at QPD on 12/6/12.  She posted cash bond. 

Arrest / Warrant   Amzy Collier (28) of 542 College was arrested for an Adam's County Warrant for FTA - DWLS and retail theft along with an origional arrest warrat for unlawful meth conspiracy on 12/6/12.  He was lodged in the Adam's County Jail.

Burglary/Residence Megan A. Owens of 821 Ohio reports that her apartment was entered and items stolen on 11/26/12. 

Burglary to Vehicle Casey M. Noble of Pittsfield IL, reports that her 2001 Mercury was entered and items stolen on 11/27/12 while the vehicle was parked at the QU parking lot at 18th and Elm. 

Criminal Damage Mary E. Miller of 1510 So. 5th reports that two windows of her apartment were broken by an unknown person on 11/26/12. 

Hit and Run Lora L. Nation of 1243 Maine repots that her 2010 Toyota was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked on the Hy-Vee lot at 3700 Broadway on 12/2/12. 

Theft Kenneth C. Hecht of 319 So. 16th reports that his silver Next brand bicycle was stolen from Family Video on 12/5/12.

Arrest Janell K Gordon, 41, 318 Acorn Dr for operating uninsured vehicle, no valid driver's license and expired registration at 20th and Vermont on 12-7-12 at 0914 hrs.  NTA.

Arrest Kristina L. Davis, 34, 816 Madison, Speeding, 16th and Chestnut  RL NTA 

Arrest Alvin S. Palmer, 31, 1505 Cherry, Driving While License Suspended  at 5th & Oak RL NTA    

Arrest Richard G. Myers, 49, 821 N 22nd, Operation of Uninsured Vehicle at 6th & Chestnut RL DL  

Arrest  Adam D. Grenell, 22, 2540 Broadway, Improper Driving at 36 & Broadway RL RTA  

Arrest/Lodged Brettanio T. Osborne, 23, 651 Harrison Drive, FTA-Theft, Petition to Revoke and Small Claims  Lodged in Lieu of  $950.00

Stolen Vehicle Matthew S. Ensley, 22, 1813 S. Granview Drive, reported his 1994 GMC Sierra Pickup, was stolen from the north parking lot of the old Post Office located at 200 N. 8th Street sometime between 1100 hours on 12-02-12 and 0800 hours on 12-04-12.  The keys were left in the glove compartment.  Registration is 1201029 B.  

Theft Phyllis I. Shaw, 69, 1321 N 4th, reproted her three foot tall Santa Clause was stolen from the front yard of her residence sometime during the overnight hours of 12-02-12 to 12-03-12.
