Exactly right. Nothing like adding a bit of drama to bolster your "argument." How can anyone complain? For starters, the bloated budgets of the police and fire departments, and the funding of the generous pensions for those employees, is the primary source of the budget woes that the City is facing. Can't afford public safety? That's one of very few things a city its suppose to afford! And the CPI comment on this thread its a very good point and it appears these men and women have taken less than that. How can anyone complain?

Dustin D. Ellis, 1704 Oak, for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, at 5th Vermont at 2348 hrs of 11/18/11.  Released on NTA. 

Richard Lee. Huddleston, homeless, for unlawful participation in meth production, meth manufacturing materials, possession of meth less than 15 grams, resisting, DWLS, failure to signal and improper lighting at 9th and Payson.

Samual J. Sartin, homeless, was arrested for trespassing at 200 North 8th.

Barnell J. Trass of 649 Washington was arrested for trespassing at 533 Grant Dr. on 11/21/11.

Michael E. Weisenburger of 726 S. 16th was arrested for disobeying a stop sign at 8th and Payson on 11/21/11.

Kristofer A. Simon of 320 Locust was arrested at 310 Elm for an outstanding Adam's County Warrant for FTA-DUI.

Jessica L. Hibbert of 1235 Hamann Lane was arrested at 310 Elm for an outstanding Adam's County Warrant for FTA-Criminal Damage.

Leslie W. Luckett, 1340 N. 5th, for an Adams Co. warrant for FTA-Small Claims and a Brown Co. warrant for FTA-Operating an Uninsured Vehicle at 533 Grant Drive at 1854 hrs of 11/21/11.  Lodged in the Adams Co. Jail. 

Josiah M. Dade, 1138 N. 6th, apt. 1/2 reported someone entered his apartment between 0900/1230 hrs of 11/12/11 ans stole a HP laptop computer. 

Joy A. Hasting, 310 Elm, reported someone entered her residence between 1300/1445 hrs of 11/17/11 and stole a Phillips 32 inch television. 

Timothy G. Hilbenbrinck Jr., 2675 E. 760th St., Ursa, IL., reported someone entered his 95 Ford while it was parked north of O'Shea's Bar and Grill, 339 Cedar, between 1600/1945 hrs of 11/17/11.  Taken were several shirts and $70 of cash and change. 

Stephanie D. Osborne, 522 Elm, reported someone stole her black Sprint LG cell phone from her residence between 1045/1935 hrs of 11/11/11.

Barbara Grimes of Quincy for speeding at 36th/Evergreen W on 11/21. 

Leslie Koetters of Quincy for disobeying traffic control device at 18th/State on 11/21.

Nicholas Fasnacht of Quincy for failure to yield at 7th/Adams on 11/19. 

Lisa Harker of Quincy for failure to reduce speed at 25th/Broadway on 11/18. 

Jessica Anderson 1021 Chestnut reports her vehicle had the back window broken out between 11/16 and 11/17. 

Mary Humphrey 1414 Maple reports her vehicle was hit and run while parked at 1700 N 12th on 11/15. 

William Davis 608 S 19th reports his vehicle was hit and run on 11/11 while parked infront of 1526 Cedar.
