Quinn should butt out and let Rauner appoint an interim comptroller and decide if an election is needed or even wanted by Illinois citizens. Why waste more tax payer dollars for a special session, especially if Rauner disagrees with Quinn's stance. The earliest election would be 2016, so what's the hurry Quinn? The special session is a total waste of tax payer dollars

Bud, to his credit, is one of the only board members that ever sets foot in the schools. During one of his visits, he found a book in a second grade classroom he took an interest in and asked the teacher if he could borrow it, bless his heart.

Arrest- Timothy J. Clarkson, 19, 1718 N. 12th, for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor at 24th Monroe at 2237 hrs of 10/20/12.  Released on NTA. 

Arrest- Izeaha Smith, 45, 714 Cedar, for Intoxication at his residence at 0152 hrs of 10/22/12.  Released on NTA. 

Arrest- Anthony C. Deverger, 46, 2519 E. Valley View, for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property at 2512 Valley Veiw at 2341 hrs of 10/16/12.  Released on cash bond.

Arrest- Beau A. Bilbrey, 25, 807 Jersey, for Peace Disturbance at his residence at 0316 hrs of 10/20/12.  Released on NTA. 

Burglary to Vehicle- Anna V. Kamphaus, 1639 State, reported her billfold was stolen from her 02 Chrysler while it was parked at 339 Cedar between 1630/1830 hrs of 10/21/12.  The wallet contained:  a debit card, a checkbook, two gift cards and $100 in U.S. currency.   

Hit and Run- John v. Mock Jr., 1011 N. 11th, reported his 06 Hyundai was struck by an unknown vehicle at 1924 hrs of 10/02/12, while it was parked in front of his residence.

Theft of License Plate- Don R. Boley Jr., 959 E. County Rd. 1450th, Hamilton, IL., reported the front plate 5495507 IL. Was stolen from his 12 Kia somewhere in Quincy between 0800 hrs of 10/19/12 and 0000 hrs of 10/20/12.  The plate was on a black 4 door Kia which was involved in a drive off at Ayerco, 4727 State at 1845 hrs of 10/24/12. 

Theft- J. Kevin Rankin, 2323 Adams, reported four political signs were stolen from his front yard between 2000/2030 hrs of 10/25/12. The signs were, a Jill Tracey, a Laura Kent Donahue, a Romney and a Vote Quincy Tea Party sign.

Arrest- Donna J. Ellard, 53, of 513 Hampshire #626 for DWLS & Uninsured Motor Vehicle at 18th & State on 10-30-12 @ 1357 hours. Released on NTA. 

Arrest- Ellie Steffen 21,4595 CO RD 116 Maywood Mo arrested for shoplifting at 6100 Broadway on 10-25,1636 hrs  nta

Arrest- Billie Brown 22,Christopher Sherman 22, 709 Center St,Hannibal Mo arrested for retail theft at 5211 Broadway on 10-29,1315 hrs  both released on nta

Arrest- Michelle Peterson 30,2431 Lexi Lane,arrested for shoplifting at 1400 Harrison on 10-29,0918 hrs   nta

Arrest- Nicholas Salyer 42,513 So 4th arrested for improper backing at 700 So 5th on 10-29 ,1349 hrs    nta

Arrest- Roger Parker 58,642 Lind arrested for stealing at 827 Cherry on 10-21,1100hrs  nta

Arrest- Owais Iqbal 29,1101 Vermont arrested for expired reg at 12 Spring on 10-29,1642 hrs    nta

Arrest- Catherine Bienhoff 82,2740 No 2600 th Ave La Prairie arrested for failure to yield private drive at 36 Broadway on 10-29,1412 hrs    nta

Arrest- Mary Musholt 76,3978 Abbey Ridge Ct,arrested for failure to yield stop sign at 24 Oak on 10-29 ,0752 hrs    nta

Arrested- Patricia Thomas 65,339 Willow, Payson arrested for disobyed stop sign at 5 th York on 10-29 ,1400 hrs   nta

Burglary Vehicle- Audrey Holtschlag 19,1823 Wilmar Orchard reported between 0030 hrs on 10-24 to 1300 hrs on 10-25 unk person entered her unlocked car and stole appromx. $70 USC  no suspect

Criminal Damage- Robert Silman 80 ,1900 Adams,reported on 10-24 a window was broken at his residence with possible a rock no suspects
