Has anyone ever thought of making the vocational building (building F at QHS) the location for 9th grade additional classrooms? That way they would not have to add on to QHS at this time.

if we are going to allow citizens of Illinois to film cops on duty (as we should) why would we not require cops to wear a cam on their person as well. Especially after Ferguson it seems like the logical thing to do, about a month ago I was reading about Rialto California where they implemented a body cam policy for their officers and use of force fell by 60% and complaints of police brutality fell…

Arrest/ Lodged- Christopher Gallaher 44 909 Jersey for battery at 905 Jersey on 09/20/12 at 1930 hours. Lodged

Arrest/ Ov- Daniel Lee 19 877 Demsey Ave, Sebastian, Fl and Derrick Carmichael 208014 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago were involved in a fight at 20th and Lind on 09/16/12 at 0303 hours. Both subjects were arrested for fighting. Carmichael was also arrested for possession of cannabis.

Arrest/ Traffic- George Scholz 60 1348 S 28th for speeding at Expressway and Kentucky on 09/20/12 at 2216 hours.

Arrest/ Traffic- Gloria Spratt 67 1408 Stone Creek Dr. for disobey traffic signal at 12th and Broadway on 09/20/12 at 1818 hours.

Arrest/Lodged- Julie L. Montoya, 48, 1228 Horne St., for Retail theft at People's Choice Thrift Store, 120 N. 5th, at 1300 hrs of 09/20/12. Lodged in the Adams Co. Jail.

Criminal Damage- Memory Scott 58 426 N 7th #1 reports an unknown subject broke a door at her residence on 09/15/12 at 2000.

Criminal Damage- Kevin Vollbracht 27 1800 Locust stated an unknown person shot a window out of his residence with a bb gun on 09/16/12 at 2120 hours.

Hit and Run- Kimberly A. Presley, 820 Country club Hgts., Apt. 101, reported her 02 Chevrolet was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked at the Quincy Mall, 3301 Broadway, between 2010/2030 hrs of 09/15/12.

Residential Burglary- Michelle A. Wiemelt, 2324 Lind, reported her residence was entered between 1645/2151 hrs of 09/15/12. A 42 " Coby television and a woman's wedding ring were taken.

Theft over $500- Amy N. McDaniel, and Joshua J. Pihl, 3 Richard Drive, Apt. 7, Keokuk, IA, reported they had two wedding rings which were in a bag from Zales stolen at the JC Penney store, 3203 Quincy Mall, at 2005 hrs of 09/15/12. One ring was a man's and the other a woman's. They were white gold with diamonds.

Arrest- Franklin Rodriguez 32, of Quincy for speeding at 23rd/Jefferson on 9/21.

Arrest - Amber P. Davis, 25, of Payson, IL for Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended for Non-Insurance and DWLS at 4th & Ohio on 09-21-12 @ 1452 hours. Released on NTA. 

Arrest - Louis R. Summers, Jr. 63, of 401 Elm #4 for Failure to Wear Seatbelt at 6th & Jackson on 09-21-12 @ 0953 hours. Released on NTA. 

Arrest- Robert F. Druffel, 90, of 301 N. 8th for Failure to Yield Right of Way - Stop Sign at 6th & Payson on 09-21-12 @ 1201 hours. Released on NTA.

Arrest- Corey Runyon 37, of Bowen for uninsured vehicle at 36th/Maine on 9/21.

Arrest- Tod Dierker 51, of Quincy for driving while revoked at 3100 State on 9/21.

Arrest - Tzu Johnson 24, of Quincy for shoplifting at 1400 Harrison on 9/18. 

Arrest- Adam L. Hackman, 33, of Havana, IL for FTA - Aggravated Battery out of Mason County, IL at 1415 Vermont on 09-21-12 @ 1515 hours. Lodged in the ACJ.

Burglary to Vehicle - Alexias Dively 1012 Maine reports her vehicle was entered on 8/28.  Her purse was stolen and her debit card had been used to make local purchases.

Burglary to Vehicle- Hannah McNeff 1222 Kentucky reports her vehicle was entered and her cell phone and GPS unit were taken between 8/30 and 9/3.

Criminal damage - Ahmed Fayed 1432 State reports the rear window on his vehicle was broken out between 9/1 and 9/4 while parked at the residence.

Criminal damage- George Obrien of Mike Obrien Insurance 419 S 10th reports someone spray painted "yolo" on the side of the building on 9/1. 

Rec. property- David Grimm of Quincy reports he found a bag containing sweatpants and shoed by a dumpster at 1024 Locust on 9/18.  Logged is as other property.

Recovered bike- A blue/white girls Magna bike was recovered at 1023 N 8th on 9/18. 

Recovered property- A gold Huffy bike was found at 14th/State on 9/7.

Theft under - Earl Ferguson of Bud and Ray's repair at 701 N 5th reports several tools were stolen from the shop on 9/12 between 1200 and 1630 hrs.
