For one, he's not explaining to the reader that there's a difference between polar ice cap extent and polar ice cap volume. People monitoring global warming are less concerned with polar ice extent than they are with the total amount of ice. Two people are removed from smoke-filled apartment building at 633 State

Quincy Fire Department crews responded to a three alarm fire at 633 State Wednesday morning.

Quincy Fire Chief Joe Henning said two people were removed from the smoke-filled two-story apartment building. A neighbor pulled one person from the building and Firefighters removed another.

Henning said one person was taken to Blessing Hospital and the other was treated at the scene by Adams County Ambulance Service personnel.

Henning said the fire is believed to have started on the first-floor fo the building.
