Better is subjective. If you're a business owner, Rauner has said he wants to cut your business taxes to make a friendlier environment. If you hire a service, Rauner wants to create a new "Service Tax" that would hit consumers of more than 2 dozen services. We already know what Quinn's done to taxes. So I guess the answer to "better" is.......neither, really.

This man is a Chicago gangster politician just like the rest of em, looks like he is gonna have trouble coming up for sending armed thugs to the homes of people who signed a petition to get a Libertarian on the ballot (Chad Grimm) If we support this man we are no better than Blago.

Two people are removed from smoke-filled apartment building at 633 State

Quincy Fire Department crews responded to a three alarm fire at 633 State Wednesday morning.

Quincy Fire Chief Joe Henning said two people were removed from the smoke-filled two-story apartment building. A neighbor pulled one person from the building and Firefighters removed another.

Henning said one person was taken to Blessing Hospital and the other was treated at the scene by Adams County Ambulance Service personnel.

Henning said the fire is believed to have started on the first-floor fo the building.
