The east side of the Newcomb Hotel in Quincy was damaged by yesterday's storm

The older building couldn't hold up to the wind and rain, causing bricks to crumble and some of the structure to fall.

Director of Central Services Marty Stegeman says the City will be duscussing the building's options with an architect.

The wall faces a parking lot between the Newcomb and Investment Planners, Inc.

When asked what the future may hold for the building, Stegeman responded that it was a decision for Director of Planning and Development Chuck Bevelheimer.
