More than $60,000 in scholarships to be presented at JWCC Foundation dinner

The John Wood Community College Foundation will host more than 300 private scholarship donors and recipients at its annual Scholarship Dinner tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the JWCC Student Activity Center at 48th and Harrison.

More than $60,000 in privately-funded scholarships will be presented during the program.
 
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a dinner.  A program will follow at 6:30 p.m.  Presentation of awards begins at approximately 6:40 p.m.  This year's featured scholarship  and recipient will speak at approximately 7:45 p.m.  The JWCC Foundation will also premiere a video at 8 p.m.
