Monroe Elementary and Gem City Ford team up for test drives

The event is Friday and Saturday at the school

Monroe Elementary School and Gem City Ford are teaming up for an event that could lead to new smartboards for the school's classrooms.

The Drive 4 Ford Event is this Friday October 5 from 3:30-6pm and on Saturday October 6from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Monroe School, 3211 Payson Road.

If the school can get 300 people to test drive some of the Ford vehicles that will be on hand, Monroe could raise up to $6,000 for interactive white boards, or smartboards.
