Man to Man cancer support group to meet

Group will meet October 23rd in the Blessing Hospital Cancer Center


 

The Man to Man Cancer Support Group will meet from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23rd, in the Blessing Hospital Cancer Center in Quincy, Illinois.     

The Man to Man Cancer Support Group is facilitated by the Blessing Cancer Center and supported by the American Cancer Society. It is open to all men and their spouses and is free of charge. It offers education and support, but not medical advice. Man to Man has a policy of confidentiality so that members feel comfortable to talk openly and honsetly , and is promotes a non-judgmental attitude and objectivity toward its members and the choices they make about their care.     

 

 

Don Russell, a fourteen time cancer survivor, facilitates this progressive support group. He is an experienced “Peer to Peer” advocate for the Blessing Cancer Center and has been an American Cancer Society volunteer.
