Man dies in U.S. 61 crash

Crash was in the highway's southbound lane near Palmyra

A man died in a two-vehicle crash near Palmyra this morning.

The man, whose name has not been identified, died after a semi struck his truck.

A Palmyra police officer said the man failed to yield.

The crash occurred about 10 a.m. in the southbound lane of Highway 61.

The Missouri Highway Patrol will release more details as they become available.
