Man arrested for stealing from St. Peter Church

Christopher Kackley accused of taking cash from donations inside the Church

In December 2012, St. Peter Church officials reported money stolen from locked donation boxes located inside the Church.

The Quincy Police Department started an investigation and Thursday at 4:19 p.m., the Quincy Police Department learned the Church was being burglarized.

Quincy Police Officers responded and Christopher Kackley was pursued from the church. Kackley ran through a building on Chaddock grounds and was captured.

He was arrested for Burglary to a place of worship, Possession of Burglary Tools and Resisting a Peace Officer.

Kackley is in the Adams County Jail.
