Man arrested after early morning stabbing

Victim was treated and released

At 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Quincy Police, Quincy Fire, and Adams County EMS responded to the report of a stabbing victim in the 1400 block of North 3rd.

Upon arrival Officers found a 22 year old Quincy man with multiple slash type wounds.  He was transported to Blessing ER where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. 

As officers investigated the incident information led them to 311 Cherry.  At that location Randall Mitchell was taken into custody.  A weapon was also recovered from that location. 

Mitchell, 23, was arrested for Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon and was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
