Harvest art mosaic and a thankful tree

The November theme is Nuts about November

Children participating in the next Hannibal Arts Council First Friday Art Adventure will create a Harvest Art Mosaic and A Thankful Tree.  The event will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St.  

The November theme is Nuts About November.  Participants will create a fall-themed mosaic using natural items including seeds, dried beans, pine cones and nuts as well as an autumnal centerpiece using tree branches with attached leaf-shaped tags featuring words of thanks.  Snacks will be an acorn-shaped snack created by workshop participants.   

Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to attend.  The cost for the program is $10 per child for the general public and $5 per child for HAC members. Registration is required.  To register, contact the Hannibal Arts Council at 573-221-6545 or kerrieo@hannibalarts.com.
