Great River Grape Escape coming up

Event is Sept. 22 and 23 at Clat Adams Park


The seventh annual Great River Grape Escape is coming up at Clat Adams Park.

The event gathers 12 Illinois wineries and their samplings for two days, coupled with live music.

This year, food pairings will be offered by some Quincy chefs from Tony's Too, The Maine Course and bailey's Fudge.

Tasting tickets for the food and wine samplings are available at the door. The first 500 participants will receive a food and wine pairing guide, courtesy of the Quincy Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The Great River Grape Escape will be held Sept. 22 and 23 from 12 to 9 on Saturday and 12 to 5 on Sunday. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
