Frese campaign brings in more than $150,000 in third quarter

Paloma Republican has $111,030 cash on hand in his quest to unseat State Sen. John Sullivan
Republican Randy Frese of Paloma brought in more than $150,000 in contributions according to his 2012 third quarter financial disclosure report filed Monday afternoon.
Frese, the Adams County Circuit Clerk who is challenging Sen. John Sullivan (D-Rushville) for the 47th District State Senate seat, brought in $92,555 in individual contributions and transfers from other political committee.
Frese’s largest donation came from Congressman John Shimkus (R-Madison), whose campaign committee donated $25,000 to Frese.
Frese received more than $60,000 in in-kind contributions mostly from the Illinois Republican Party and the Republican State Senate Campaign Committee. Click here for more.
For the quarter, Frese spent $108,628, leaving his committee $111,030 in cash on hand. Sullivan, who filed his report on Friday, has $431,562 on hand.
