do they charge Dish & Direct TV a fee? I thought the cable fee had something to do with them using city property to run their wire. Does phone company pay city also?

Now the citizens of Missouri need to prepare for the "fleecing" their state and local governments are about to put on them, to build a new downtown stadium so Kroenke doesn't have a reason to leave in 2016.

Team America, Naked Gun, Hot shots all the way back to The Three Stooges, and Charlie Chaplin, Hollywood has taken "Assassination attempts" or just plain mud slinging at Dictators or famous people, this is nothing new we need to grow up, and fat face needs to quit giving them material.

I wouldn't be able to give a very educated response to that question, because (having this conversation in work circles) I always understood this franchise agreement to include a fee a cable company would pay to the city of Quincy for sole rights as a cable provider in town. The last couple of years I have learned Adams is the CATV provider at Blessing and many businesses in town, a year ago…

Kenny Wallace promotes Ethanol in Springfield

Kenny Wallace promotes Ethanol in Springfield

NASCAR driver and commentator appeared with Sen. Sullivan

State Senator John Sullivan (D-Rushville) and NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace promoted the use of E-15 fuels during a Wednesday visit to the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield.

“E-15 is a high-performance fuel, and I know a little about high performance,” Wallace said. “More people should have the chance to buy fuel that helps Illinois’ largest industry: agriculture.”

E-15 is a blended biofuel made up of 85% gasoline and 15% ethanol. E-15 is available at some gas stations in Illinois but is less common than the 10% ethanol blend sold across the state.

“The more ethanol we put into our gas, the more money we put into Illinois’ farm economy. By expanding the use of E-15 we promote agriculture, help the environment with lower emissions and reduce our dependence on foreign oil,” Sullivan said.

NASCAR has exclusively used E-15 fuel during practice, qualification and races since 2011. NASCAR switched to E-15 to lower emissions and promote the use of biofuels.

A 2013 study reported that – since switching to E-15 – NASCAR’s viewers were 40% more likely to support the expansion of ethanol fuels and 50% more likely to use ethanol blends in their own vehicles. The switch to E-15 also reduced on-track emissions by 20%.

Since his first NASCAR race in 1988, Kenny Wallace has 900 starts, 9 Nationwide Series wins and three Nationwide Series Most Popular Driver awards.
