You are not talking about normal people, you are talking about union employees that have a different mentality about "their" pension. Why wouldn't they, you pay for it.

I would feel sick to my stomach and probably in a deep depression for weeks if someone took my entire retirement away, which is why I would never suggest a plan like that as a fix. Chad Grimm had a plan during the last election to fix pensions that would leave those close to retirement alone and those relatively new to the pensions (I think it was up to 10 years) would have a option to convert them…

I don't listen much to infowars ... but I don't think you understand what they are saying ... they are saying government will maybe decide to proceed FURTHER down the path of taking ALL funds from the private sector, to fund your HOLY government pension nirvana ... where government workers get riches, and the rest are their slaves. Yes ... "we" have already thought of what the totalitarians…

Prices received for most farm products moved higher in April, and they advanced at a rate exceeding that for prices paid by farmers, according to the USDA’s Farm Prices report released April 30. The preliminary All Farm Products Index of Prices Received by Farmers in April increased by four points, or 3.6 percent from March and is up 8 points, or 7.5 percent, from April 2013. The report lists the April index at 115, compared to a baseline of 100 in 2011.

The April Index of Prices Paid for commodities and services, interest, taxes, and farm wages, is at 112. The index is up two points, or 1.8 percent from March and six points, or 5.7 percent above April 2013.

As for livestock, the April index for all livestock and products stood at 133, up 3.1 percent from March and 23 percent higher than a year ago. The index for meat animals, also at 133, was up 3.1 percent from last month and up 27 percent from a year ago. The April beef cattle price of $149 per hundredweight increased $1.00 from last month and is $24.00 higher than April 2013.

The April dairy index, at 127, is up 1.6 percent from a month ago and 31 percent higher than April last year. The April all milk price of $25.50 per hundredweight is up 30 cents from last month and $6.00 above April 2013.

In contrast, prices received for feed grains generally have declined over the past year. The April index, at 79, is up 3.9 percent from last month but 32 percent below a year ago. The corn price, at $4.73 per bushel, is up 22 cents from last month but $2.24 below April 2013. Sorghum grain, at $8.41 per hundredweight, is 17 cents above March but $3.19 below April last year.
