Spoken like a True Believer----putting lipstick on the pig. As long as we're in "At Least" mode to excuse our illustrious Dictator-in-Chief, I would say no one can doubt Mr Niekamp's honesty or sincerity; something that cannot be said of Obama. "Did his best".........that's a good one.

What have we become? 55 years ago, we could go rabbit hunting before school and store our shotgun in our locker in school and then go hunting after school. All this with full knowledge of the school principal. Are we sliding backwards? One or two mental cases shoot up a school and all of a sudden little Tommy can't play with is toy gun. Please stop the world, I want to get off.

For the love of God, man, don't give them any ideas! There are already kids getting kicked out of schools for biting toast into the shape of guns! Like I said earlier, I know the thought-process behind what they're doing here, but the thought has not been fully formed. I don't know what the answer is, but this ordinance sure as hell isn't it.

Fingers can be formed to look like guns. Are they going to have kids wear oven mitts? BG
