From qconline.com:
With second place in the Western Big 6 on the line, the Blue Devils (17-6) stepped into a controlling-their-own-destiny situation. At 5-3 in the WB6, they are done with road conference games, going 4-1.
"Yes, all we have are two home games left," Quincy coach Sean Taylor said of the title chase. "But remember, we're 1-2 at home." Left for the Devils are dates with Alleman, tied for second, and leader Rock Island.
Alleman downed East Moline behind 38 points from Tyler Yoecum and league-leader Rock Island had no problems with Galesburg.
