Church group to host A Very Merry Market

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church PLUS to hold the event Nov. 10


The Very Merry Market will open its doors at 9 am on Saturday, November 10 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church located at 2701 College. Hosted by PLUS (Parents of Lutheran Students), The Very Merry Market will feature more than 38 vendors from the Quincy area selling unique gifts that range from handmade winter hats and traditional kitchen staples to fresh from the oven baked goods and upcycled crayons.

There is no admission for the Very Merry Market but donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for Quanada. The event is handicap accessible and a light breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase. The Market will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Very Merry Market is a fund raiser for the PLUS group which is dedicated to raising funds to support the Lutheran elementary education of the children of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. The children attend St. James Evangelical Lutheran School which is located at 17th and Jefferson Streets in Quincy. Additional funding is provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
