I'm a little wonderous here...in the example case of the two-year-old the new pathologists claimed death from one of two unrelated causes. I would assume they were saying BOTH of those things occurred and the blow to the abdomen caused the lacerated liver and that they just couldn't be sure which one caused death first.

Simply state you are an undocumented visitor. It appears they can't be stopped or questioned under any circumstance.

ZERO TOLERANCE is a cop out. It is another way of saying “don’t ask me to use my brain to apply circumstances of this situation that makes it different from other situations – I am not qualified for that.”. So you end up with students being suspended for giving 2 aspirins to a class mate because of a headache in the same boat with someone passing out joints. I can already hear the next appeal from…

"Regardless of your state’s law, keep in mind that police can never compel you to identify yourself without reasonable suspicion to believe you’re involved in illegal activity. But how can you tell if an officer asking you to identify yourself has reasonable suspicion? Remember, police need reasonable suspicion to detain you. So one way to tell if they have reasonable suspicion is to determine if…

Chicago State Senator arrested for trying to take a handgun on a plane

1 year, 9 months ago by Bob Gough

State Sen. Donne Trotter on Wednesday was busted for bringing a handgun and bullets through an O’Hare Airport security checkpoint on his way to catch a flight to Washington D.C.

From chicagotribune.com: A bond hearing will be held today for state Sen. Donne Trotter, who was arrested at O’Hare International Airport for allegedly trying to board a plane with an unloaded handgun and a clip with six bullets.

Trotter, a Chicago Democrat who is seeking the congressional seat vacated by Jesse Jackson Jr., is charged with a Class 4 felony. He was taken into custody Wednesday morning and held in jail overnight.

A Chicago police officer responded to a call of a handgun that showed on an X-ray machine at Checkpoint No. 2 in Terminal 1 around 7 a.m. Wednesday, police said. When police and an agent from the Transportation Security Administration realized the bag belonged to Trotter, they escorted him to a nearby room to interview him, police said.

Authorities found a .25-caliber Beretta in his garment bag, and a clip containing six live rounds in a separate side pocket, according to police, who said the gun was not loaded.

Trotter told police he worked late Tuesday night at his job as a security guard for All Points Security and packed his bag early this morning, police said. They said he told authorities he didn’t realize the gun was in the bag.
