Chicago man arrested for having a gun at a Downtown nightclub

Brandon Head allegedly brought a handgun to the Phoenix Night Club

Quincy Police arrested a Chicago man early Sunday morning after he allegedly brought a handgun to Downtown nightclub.

At 1:39 Sunday morning, officers were called to Phoenix Night Club, 625 Maine, for a report of a man with a gun. Brandon Head, 23 of Chicago, was located at the bar and police say he was in possession of a handgun. Head did not have a valid FOID card.

Head faces charges of possession of a firearm with no valid FOID, possession of ammo with no valid FOID and unlawful use of a weapon.

Head was lodeged at the Adams County Jail.
