Moving from Philadelphia to Milwaukee
Gardner Denver Inc., a company that produces compressors, liquid ring pumps and blowers for various industrial, medical, environmental, transportation and process applications, has confirmed that the company is moving its headquarters from Wayne, Pa., to Milwaukee.
"We have 40 to 50 positions that we are considering moving," said Curtis Selby, vice president of human resources. "These are corporate functions and are non-production jobs. As far as what the potential is for growth, that has yet to be determined."
Selby said the headquarters would be located at 222 East Erie St.
Tim Sullivan, president and chief executive officer of Gardner Denver Inc., announced Wednesday that he is leaving the company and board member Peter Wallace will take on the position of CEO effective immediately.
Sullivan was approached a year ago by Gardner Denver to run the $2.4 billion Pennsylvania manufacturer and took the job on July 30 after investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP, or KKR, had just acquired Gardner Denver for $3.9 billion
