I know they don't give the bikes to people who don't report them missing and they'll need a serial number or other identifying marks. And the report needs to be prior to the claim it is their's.

Thanks for all the kind words. The school board did reinstate most of my stipend for this season. They still do not give any support to the program itself, but we are doing fine with grants and donations.

There's no financial support from the school? Why is that? ( My first thought was that maybe its considered a club sport instead of a sanctioned varsity sport?) Anyway... If you know of any way that they're accepting donations towards the cost of their trip, could you please post it here? Thanks.

United Airlines traffic up, but so are empty seats

United increased passenger-carrying capacity by 2.7 percent

From Associated Press:

Passengers flew more miles on United Airlines last month, but faster growth in capacity on international flights resulted in a few more empty seats.

United Continental Holdings Inc. said Tuesday that traffic rose 0.7 percent as passengers flew 17.47 billion miles in March. Traffic rose in the U.S. and to Latin America but fell elsewhere, compared with March 2013.

United increased passenger-carrying capacity by 2.7 percent, with most of the increase on international routes. Airlines raise capacity by adding flights, using bigger planes or flying longer distances.
