Since court action has already been filed, I think the government should butt out now and wait for the court decision. As is now the situation seems ripe for some major "grandstanding" by both sides as both try to attain the higher "moral" ground. I will be keeping a barf bag handy.

Breakfast fundraiser supporting Romney

2 years, 2 months ago by Denise Donley

Congressman Paul Ryan will visit Quincy to help raise campaign money for Presidential candidate Mitt Romney

A breakfast fundraiser will be held next week in support of the Romney 2012 Presidential Campaign.

On Friday, July 13, 2012, Congressman Paul Ryan will visit Quincy to help raise campaign money for Mitt Romney.

The breakfast campaign will be held at the Holiday Inn, 4821 Oak Street from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.   Ticket price is $100 per person.  An individual contribution of $1,000 will enable you to have your picture taken with Congressman Ryan.

Presently, President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are neck-and-neck in all battleground states.  Media needs to be bought in advance, and this fundraiser will help with some of the costs needed for advertisements.

Ann and Harold “Knap” Knapheide and Erin and Bo Knapheide are coordinating the event.

To RSVP for the event, please send $100 per person to Judy Miller at PO Box 7140, Quincy, IL 62305-7140.   Checks should be made out to ROMNEY VICTORY, INC.
