Unidentified white adult woman found floating in Mississippi

According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Department, an unidentified white adult woman was found floating in the Mississippi River around 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

The body was found between Hamilton and Nauvoo.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

No other details have been released.
