I did NOT say not to issue Marriage licenses to same sex couples-- THAT is now the law of the land. This argument is about POLYGAMY. The court opened it up. It's anything goes, so Polygamy is a more natural marriage them same sex. So there should be NO Restrictions on marriage, consenting adults after all. Otherwise it's discrimination and if you disagree your a BIGOT. And wait until the…

It's quite possible. Genes do not always inevitably have their effect. The effect could depend upon the environment. I could be carrying and pass along whatever gene(s) necessary for homosexuality to my children even though I'm straight.

So, it is my OPINION that this is wrong in your eyes. Everyone has an opinion and has the freedom to voice their ideas and concerns. You won't see me getting bent out of shape when you express yours, just have the courtesy and freedom to allow me to express mine. There are verifiable instances where scenarios already exists, or have been tried, just look them up. Just saying that a plural marriage…

What's the compelling state interest for not issuing licenses to same-sex couples, and why do you think it's necessary to achieve that interest?

I don't there is a religion that condones "anything goes". Kind of defeats the purpose. So "condoning freedom" is not the goal of most any religion.

At same stop, State Sen. candidate Frese says he has no plan that cuts $1 billion from education

House Minority Leader Tom Cross spent Wednesday flying around the state of Illinois with Adam Andrzejewski to promote the “Save Illinois Taxpayers” pledge.

The two men stopped at Quincy Regional Airport and were joined by State Rep. Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) and Republican State Senate candidate Randy Frese.

The three-pronged approach is to call for a freeze on local property taxes for three years, comprehensive audits and a repeal of the 67 percent state income tax increase passed last year.

"Taxpayers, Families and seniors are being taxed to death in Illinois," Andrzejewski said. "We must freeze property taxes, stop the fraud and mismanagement and cut taxes."

"For years, Democrats in Illinois have over-spent, over-borrowed and over-taxed Illinois families," Cross said. "Their plan has driven jobs out of our state and created record debt.  Illinois needs a new direction that focuses on holding the line on taxes, balancing our budget and creating jobs."

During the airport visit, Frese said State Sen. John Sullivan’s newest television campaign ad blasting his education plan isn’t true because he hasn’t endorsed an education plan and he never said he wanted to cut $1 billion in education funding.

“I’m pro-education and pro-educator…my wife is a teacher, her sister is a teacher in Knox County and my mother-in-law is a retired teacher,” Frese said. “At no time have I endorsed in my campaign an education plan of any type and at no time have I said I want to cut $1 billion from the education budget in the state of Illinois. To say so is untruthful.”

The Sullivan ad says WTAD Radio is the source of the information during an appearance on the Morning Meeting in February. Click here to listen to the source.

Frese said Sullivan needs to focus on his own record, which includes funding cuts to Western Illinois University and “stop making things up”.
