Quincy Public Library screening Lincoln movie Sunday


The Quincy Public Library invites patrons to honor and remember President Abraham Lincoln on his birthday, Sunday, February 12.

The Library, in partnership with the Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County will screen present "A House Divided," filmed entirely in Quincy.

The film features John Anderson as Abraham Lincoln. Anderson is a Quincy native, who appeared in the movie “Psycho,” on the television programs “Bonanza,” and “Gunsmoke.”

With over 500 acting credits John is well remembered for his fine character portrayals including Abraham Lincoln. Dr. Tim Jacobs will present a short introduction on John Anderson prior to the film's showing.

The screen will be held in the large meeting room at 2 p.m. Sunday.
