I agree on that and made no claims otherwise. I didn't mention in a car, you are. If there is a seat belt check and see I have it on, why do they need to see my ID? Probably because it's more than a seatbelt check in reality. Kind of like the dog that "hits" on a car that has no drugs in it can be used to search the car.

Do you expect the voters to make a difference? I don't. Can those actually paying taxes simply move out of Illinois? Where would these hypocrites get their pay checks then? Once the taxpayers are gone, the over taxed businesses would follow, they couldn't get tax breaks, only thing left in IL is the politician, the overworked gov't worker, and the subsidized IL resident!

The police operate under the constitution. They know what those are, they deal with it day in and day out. They are kept abreast of court rulings one-way or the other. If you feel they acted unconstitutionally on the street, that is adjudicated in a court room in front of a judge, NOT on the street. Arrest   Robin S. Spears, 37, of 930 N. 5th for FTA - Possession of Drug

Equipment at her residence on 08-26-14 @ 1917 hours. Lodged.

Arrest   Jason S Reel 23 1118 State Apt 1 for Disobey Stop Sign at 8/York on 8-26-14 at 1934 hours. Released on NTA.

Arrest   Joshua F Baucom, 26, 2208 Hwy 104 Liberty for operating uninsured vehicle at 8th/Broadway on 8-26-14 at 2246 hours. Rel on NTA.

Arrest   Claude C Lynch, 26, of Chicago, IL for interfering at Indian Hills on 8-27-14 at 0101. Released on NTA at the scene.

Arrest   Ashley R Chatfield 28, 712 Cherry for Registration suspended for

Mandatory Insurance at 8/Chestnut on 8-26-14 at 2233 hours. NTA           

Arrest   Gregory M. Bock, 34, of Barry, IL for Violation of an Order of Protection at 1031 N. 20th on 08-26-14 @ 1840 hours. Lodged in the ACJ.

Hit and Run   Halee Turnbaugh stated that her 02 Ford was struck in the rear by an unknown vehicle at 6/Hampshire on 8-21-14 at 1630 hours. No suspect information.  

Motor Vehicle Theft   Lester H. Livengood of 1340 N. 5th reported that his blue 1987 Harley Davidson softail motorcycle with black saddle bags and wide handlebars bearing IL Reg. # TROLL1 was stolen from outside of the Cedar Club at 2001 Cedar sometime between 2200 and 2330 hours on 08-26-14.                     

Res Burg   Robert Schabel 916 N 8th reported his Poulan chainsaw was stolen from a garage at 922 N 8th between 8-17-14 and 8-18-14. No suspects. 

Theft   Mark Jones 523 N 6th reported a kid’s bike was taken from his yard

between 1200 hours and 1400 hours on 8-21-14. No suspects.
