Perhaps UKWP is trying to equate military service with "on the teat" teaching jobs. Of course there are many big differences, especially for military that are deployed, which is part of the job. And you're making the opposite mistake....saying that each thing, when added together, becomes a total justification. That's not how you justify expenditures. You have to make the case for EACH item in it's own right. And you do that compared to what it would cost to fix it in place...assuming you do have to fix it...which apparently we don't...because it hasn't been done.…

Arrest / Traffic Katelyne E. Shull (19) of 217 Stadium Dr. Apt. 14 was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle at 36th and Broadway on 8/8/14.

Arrest / Traffic Ivan J. Yantis (19) of 1020 Adams was arrested for speeding at 30th and Harrison on 8/18/14.

Arrest / Traffic James H. Wyatt (44) of 2712 Curved Creek Road was arrested for speeding at Klondike Ave and Ann Ave on 8/18/14.

Arrest / Traffic Sean R. Wright (28) of 821 Madison was arrested for speeding at 30th and Harrison on 8/18/14

Arrest/nta Katherine R Rice 39 of 2710 S 24th for speeding at Wilmar/Cherry Lane on 08-19.

Arrest/nta Kate M Hensley 34 of 3518 Harbor Lane for speeding Wilmar/Cherry Lane on 08-19. 

Arrest/nta Kyley M Barnes 18 of Center, MO and Katie Campbell 18 of New London, MO for shoplifting at 3359 Broadway on 08-18. 

Conterfeiting Jiffi Stop of 2400 State reports receiving a counterfeit $20 on 08-16. 

Residential Patricia Maples of 2310 St. Charles Drive reports unlocked garage burglary entered and unlocked vehicles gone through overnight on 08-13.  A lighter was taken from the garage.

Theft under Linda Hardy reports kid's Lincoln 50 CC blue and red 4-wheeler stolen from 616 N 4th between 2300 on 8-12 and 0030 on 8-13.  The seat is wrapped in clear tape.

Arrest Timia E. Humphrey, 18, of 830 Cherry St. for Domestic Battery at 9th & Cherry on 08-18-14 @ 2206 hours. Lodged in the ACJ. 

Arrest Terry G. Wright, 46, and Larry D. Wright, 46, both of 517 Chestnut #4 for Providing Alcohol to a Minor at their residence on 08-09-14 @ 0059 hours. Released on NTA's

Burglary Jeff Stupavsky, owner of a building located at 407 Hampshire, reported that his building was forcibly entered sometime between 1800 hours on 08-17-14 and 1800 hours on 08-18-14. Stupavsky stated that numerous items were stolen.
