I understand that teacher's do not have opulent salaries but the statement about throwing good money after bad is biased. From what I have heard, the schools are structurally sound. Doesn't the school district have paid staff to understand the state laws for maintenance…

Young man was lodged for disobeying a traffic control device and obstructing justice

A Quincy man was taken to the Adams County Jail Monday after an accident on the northside of Quincy.

Quincy Police responded to 24th and Koch's Lane Monday morning to a report of car accident with one vehicle on its side.

The investigation revealed Quenton Keating, 23, was westbound on Koch's Lane in a 2005 Dodge Ram and disobeyed the traffic control device at 24th Street.

He struck a 2007 Lexus SUV that was southbound.  The Lexus was knocked over on it's passenger side and struck the traffic light post in the southwest corner of the intersection.

The 49 year old female driver and 64 year old male passenger of the Lexus were transported to Blessing Hospital by ambulance.

Keating was arrested for disobeying a traffic control device and obstructing justice and lodged in jail.
