I thought the extent measurements were pixelated results with at least 10% ice coverage so includes holes. That's my understanding of it from what I read. Measuring different things would make sense. But the difference doesn't help bolster the case that "all the science agrees" when it obviously doesn't.

QPD makes hit and run arrest

At 3:45 a.m. Friday, Quincy Police received multiple reports of hit and run accidents in the 6th and Elm neighborhood.

Witnesses reported a silver vehicle had hit several cars before leaving the area. Other witnesses saw a man walking in the neighborhood at about that time.

Officers found a 2005 Ford Taurus at the intersection of 6th and Maple that matched the description of the suspected vehicle. The car was running, but unoccupied. 

Richard L. Russell, 35, of Florida, was found in the 8th and Sycamore area. Following an investigation, it was learned the Taurus had been stolen from the 9th and Broadway area.

Russell faces charges of Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft, Leaving the scene of an accident and property damage. He is in the Adams County Jail.
