Why would we have ANY life safety projects on new buildings????????? Even over 20 years that's pretty hard to imagine to the tune of $2M per year. Can I put some more question marks behind that?????????

Both sides still need to approve deal

Quincy Public Schools Board of Education and Service Employees’ International Union Local 73 have reached a tentative bargaining agreement. The current agreement expired June 30. 

In a press release sent Tuesday morning, SEIU Bargaining Committee Member Becky Mock and School Board Member Scott Stone said that the negotiations were very positive and resulted in a mutual agreement. 

Details of the agreement will not be released until approved by both parties.
