University tops goal for fourth straight year

For the fourth straight year - the Q U fund has exceeded its goal - raising $1,037,208 for the university's endowment.

That is also record.

Julie Bell, Q U Vice President for University Advancement saysthose funds will be used  to support scholarships - technology upgrades and campus enhancements.

Bell said on campus participation in the campaign has increased with a record high of 96 percent faculty and staff participation.She said, "That's particularly important because that shows that our own QU family believes in what we're doing and wants to support it."

Bell said Alumni participation has remained steady but the amount of giving from alumni and the business community have increased.
