I don't care if the unions and democrats support the measure or not, parents should have a say as to whether their children take the tests. They're their children not the state's.

Andrew Brasch, 28, was arrested for DUI and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

A Quincy man is in custody after firearms were discovered in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

According to police, officers were dispatched at 6:42 pm on Saturday to the area of 12th and Vermont in regard to an intoxicated driver.  Officers arrived in the area and located 28 year old Andrew Brasch.  Subsequent to an investigation Brasch was arrested for DUI.  Officers say they observed two firearms in the vehicle Brasch was driving.  A check of Brasch's name showed he did not possess an FOID card.   

Officers searched Brasch's residence at 1804 Adams and located numerous firearms which were seized. 

He was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
