Former player and assistant takes over program

After being approved by the Quincy School Board on Thursday night, Andy Douglas met the Blue Devil faithful Friday night. 

At a news conference which resembled a pep rally, the 2000 QHS grad emotionally described coming home during the event at Blue Devil Gym.

"This job...this opportunity...is something I've prepared for my entire life.," Douglas said. 

Douglas has coached at Liberty High School over the past four years and won 83 games and two regional titles.
