Three awards were given Saturday

MARY LOU KENT THEME AWARD

WINNER:  Quincy High School Key Club

The float featured a red open box saying “We love Quincy because…” and buildings with different themes including “architecture,” “education,” and “Quincy Arts.”

 

GOVEROR’S AWARD

WINNER:  KHQA TV

KHQA’s float was pulled on a hitch with a sign saying “You are on the top of our list!” with posters of featured programs on KHQA.

 

MAYOR'S AWARD

WINNER: Quincy University Aviation Club

The float was a miniature City of Quincy the Bayview Bridge, with an airplane flying overhead with a banner reading “Quincy: An Amazing Place to Live.”
