CAMP POINT $2.08 PER gallon. What's wrong with Quincy? Those oil rigs from Indiana will find a quicker route down I70 and I72 to Quincy then looking for RT24. Is there price gouging and rigging going on in this friendly town? Getting gasoline from Canada? Japan?

They won't rip Biden since the media tends to like him, as opposed to anyone else in the Obama administration.

There is a strip mall along US61 that has a County Market, a Dollar General, an Orshclen (sp?), a Subway, and a couple of others. But don't you dare burn it down as it is the only grocery store between Keokuk and Palmyra outside of Quincy!

Bubble buster here - your 1st amendment rights do not apply to the comment section of a privately owned news web site. You can't tell "fire" in a movie theater and cry 1st amendment either.

Dog euthanized after biting child

1 year, 5 months ago by Bob Gough

On March 20, the Adams County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a seven year old boy being bitten by a dog in the 500 block of Washington.

The incident was investigated and the dog was impounded, even though it was current on its rabies shots.

On March 21, the Adams County Animal Control officer issued a a notice of violation for an "animal at large/nuisance" to the owner of the dog, Tina Blackledge of 505 Washington.

On March 24, Blackledge surrendered the dog to the County and it was euthanized.

By state law, the Adams County Animal Warden is responsible for investigation of animal bites in the County.
