Why not use the same tactics you did to get ObamaCare through? You only needed the help of Pelosi and the lies of the Democrat party. Didn't the UN help you, BarryO? Maybe Biden can stand on his front porch with a shot gun, fire a few warning shots into the air, and, with Reid's help the Dem's will fall into goose steps. Why are Dem's so afraid to think and act for themselves instead…

That's because it is a black kettle ! I wonder who Democrats can profess to be Christians while they condone killing babies and blacks killing blacks. "Condone" - because if they don't act against these tips of killings they must be for them.

Adams Co. Board supports clerk's stance on same-sex marriage licenses

1 year, 4 months ago by Bob Gough

County will wait until law becomes official in June

The Adams County Board voted to support Adams County Clerk Georgia Volm's stance on same sex marriage licenses.

Becky Weed (R-District 2) made the motion to agree with Volm's decision to wait until issuing any licenses until the Illinois law becomes official on June 1.

Attorney General Lisa Madigan has told Illinois' county clerks they have the right to immediately issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples following a federal judge's ruling last month Illinois' original ban was unconstitutional.

The County Board will also send a letter to State Sen. John Sullivan (D-Rushville) to oppose a Senate Bill Sullivan is co-sponsoring that would give the state the authority to legislate placement of wind turbines throughout the state and supercede the county's authority.

The Legislative and Judicial Committee also provided a noise ordinance for Board members to review.
