The same applies to saying our measurements now match those earlier (especially to the precision they're claiming). Also applies to the hockey stick graph not going back far enough which is just like saying local/current temps are not indicative because they aren't long enough or wide enough. Temperature collection outside the U.S. was really bad until satellites came along.

People with common sense spoke out and they voted the proposed ordnance down. They forgot swords, meat cleavers, cattle prods and brass knuckles. They were in effect banning kids from playing cowboys & Indians. That's probably not PC anymore anyway.

There's also a massive difference between "weather" and "climate", but every time there's a cold-spell, there are always folks who day that "disproves" global climate change. Usually that's a claim made by people looking out their windows as opposed to guys (and gals) doing, you know, science.

Registered voters can vote prior to the March 18 primary regardless of reason

Early voting begins today across the state of Illinois.

Anyone wishing to vote prior to the scheduled March 18th primary in Illinois can do so, regardless of reason, at the County Clerks office.

In Adams County, the County Clerk's office is located at 507 Vermont in Quincy and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Early voting will conclude on March 15th. After that, anyone wishing to vote will have to do so on March 18th at their respective polling place.

Almost every contested race in Adams County is on the Republican ballot including Governor, Treasurer, US Senator, State Representative and County Clerk/Recorder.

There is also a contested race on the Democratic ballot to challenge incumbent US Congressman Aaron Schock.
