The TIF district does not include a Property Tax abatement. Those are features of the Enterprise Zone which this site is not a part of. Would like to know how we are going to force that one through against our rules.....not that I doubt they will do it. Just remember that getting taxable property there doesn't bring in any extra $$ for the city. What it does is lower property taxes for the rest of us. Obviously more $$ back for more expensive properties (i.e. same % saved across the board).

Clayton man accused of sexually abusing 12-year-old girl

Patrick Stabler being held in the Adams Co. Jail

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Clayton, Illinois man on Saturday. 

36-year-old Patrick D. Stabler was arrested on two counts of criminal sexual abuse and taken to the Adams County Jail. He is accused of sexual abuse against a 12 year old girl. 

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stabler following an investigation of the reported abuse.

Stabler’s bond has not been set and he is in the Adams Co. Jail pending his first court appearance.
