Water main break causes slick roads in Quincy

Gardner Expressway was covered in water

Slick conditions were created by a water main break in Quincy Friday evening.

A water main broke Friday night  around 6:00 p.m. at 5th and Jefferson.

Crews were on the scene immediately to repair the broken line.

Gardner Expressway was covered in water, creating slick roads.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area.
