The common sense solution would be to require finger prints on ballots which would be scanned and compared to all other finger prints affixed to other ballots. Any duplicate prints would invalidate both votes and subject the person to investigation/prosecution for vote fraud. Until votes are validated there would only be provisional winners.

Quincy Police make Saturday morning arrest

UPDATE: Henry D Johnson, 17 , of 1127 N 5th was wanted in connection for the aggravated battery (stabbing) that occurred on 12/19/13 in the 1100 block of North 5th.  

Just before 8 a.m. Saturday,, Quincy police officers located Johnson at a residence in the 900 Block of Hampshire.  Johnson was taken into custody then transported to the Quincy Police Dept and booked on a charge of Aggravated Battery.  

Johnson was lodged in the Adams County Jail pending his first court appearance on Monday.

PREVIOUS STORY

A man was stabbed in the 1100 block of North 5th Street in Quincy Thursday night.

Quincy Police responded to a fight at around 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, the victim was found to have two non life threatening stab wounds.

He was transported to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his late teens, wearing dark clothing at the time of the stabbing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Quincy Crime Stoppers or Quincy Police.

The investigation is ongoing.
