I don't have a dog in this fight and I don't want to pay for it either. Apparently property taxes are not enough to pay for a lot of things including garbage so if you want an animal control officer to take care of your animal problems in the city you should pay for it in some manner.
What is he logic behind charging the people who make a complaint? Are you assuming that the majority of the complaints are frivolous? Making people think twice before calling a complaint in does nothing to solve the underlying problem. Are these complaints routed through the non-emergency 911 system? Perhaps they should be.
I never said it was. My point which you are apparently missing is we as a society and the press are spending all this time talking about a damn dog when we have what appears to be a crisis in child abuse happening in Adams County at the same time.
