November traffic statistics in Adams County were released this week.
The County had 62 travelers cited for seeding and 37 for occupant restraint.
Three drug and alcohol related arrests were made and one person was arrested for driving under the influence.
Officers also wrote 33 warnings for speeding in Adams County.
The STEP program involves increased enforcement and community education to raise public awareness and compliance with traffic laws.
Emphasis is placed on speeding, failure to wear a safety belt, DUI, and other alcohol-related offenses in areas that experience the highest level of traffic problems.
This project was funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Traffic Safety.
