The aldermanic vote was 7-6. Moore's vote doesn't count as an aldermanic vote since he's the mayor. BG

If the vote to approve the Machinists contract was 7-6, with Mayor Moore voting with the majority because of a tie vote among the Aldermen present, doesn't that mean Jared Holbrook was not the only Alderman absent that evening? Or, did we lose an Alderman somewhere along the way these past few months and I missed reading about it?

Nope, Migraine... I'll give you credit for having a sense of humor about this issue... But seriously no I'm not interested in complaining for the sake of complaining. I'm interested in our system being fair, is all. A lot of the people that have posted here have got my stance all wrong. I'd be all for requiring some form of ID as a safeguard, but not the way that it stands…

Duo allegedly stole from a north side business

Kohl Schuckman (19 yoa) 1313 N. 26th Quincy, IL. Arrested for:  Burglary to Vehicle, Theft over $500

Christopher Hamilton (21 yoa) 2514 College Quincy, IL Arrested for:  Theft over $500

On Wednesday, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested two subjects for their involvements in a burglary/theft from a business off of Parker Drive on the north side of Quincy.  

Kohl Schuckman was arrested for burglary to a vehicle and theft over $500. Christopher Hamilton was arrested for theft over $500. 

Both were allegedly involved with stealing property from the business on October 4 during the nighttime hours. 

Hamilton and Schuckman were lodged in the Adams County Jail without Bond.
