Let's give this thing a chance! Seems to me the Project Manager is doing exactly what he was hired to do.

Let's assume the stats are accurate as Vyan presents them. Two things: 1. Vyan realizes he has a weak case and thus reverts to the sophomoric argument (as in high school sophomore) that he's not wrong because you can't prove that "black fathers have abandoned their children." He can still say black fathers aren't THAT absent. 2. Another look at the stats - 100 black kids, 100 white…

Wish you could set up a meeting with Boehner's new puppet and Flynn. I don't understand why anyone from Quincy can vote for LaHood and this should just prove it.

If your share and my share are the same of the debt in IL, (think 111 billion just for pension), then I move. Do you think your share went up a little? What if I move my business because I can? Think your share went up a little more? I think IL is losing population faster than most states, except illegals. They will certainly take up the slack of baby boomers and millionaires moving out. Only ones…

On Saturday, October 6th, the public is invited to a celebration for the Show Barn at Windsong Acres, near Camp Point

Due to the weather, this event has been cancelled.

On Saturday, October 6th, the public is invited to a 100th Anniversary Celebration for the Show Barn at Windsong Acres, near Camp Point Illinois.  The unique and historic barn, built by Clarence and Cora Dickhut in 1912 and renovated by Jeff & Shelly Rasche in recent years, is an Adams County landmark and is currently being considered for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.  Admission is free; donations are welcome and will help maintain the barn for the future.  Visitors may wish to bring lawn chairs.

Old-fashioned games for children will begin at 3:00 p.m.  Between 4:00-7:00 p.m., the celebration will feature music by local singers and groups, tours of both barns at Windsong Acres, photos of the barn restoration process, antique tractors, cars, and antique farm artifacts, and demonstrations by members of the Adams County Olde Tyme Association.   Food and refreshments will be available throughout the event.

All guests will have the opportunity to sign a wood plank that will be added to the barn to commemorate the 100th Anniversary Celebration, and a group photo of all who wish to pose with the barn will be taken at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m., the Silver Dollar Square Dancers from Quincy will demonstrate square dancing. Guests are invited to grab a partner and join in the fun.

Windsong Acres is located at 2121 E. 2400th Street, Camp Point, IL, which is two miles north of Camp Point and one mile east.  The barn is visible just one mile due west of Camp Point Central High School.  Detailed directions and more information is available at www.ShellyRasche.com
